Paint By Light (For teenagers 13-17)
Cyanotype is a hand painted photographic emulsion, one of the earliest photographic methods. Students will be looking at composition, framing, and tinting. Students will start working with water colour to understand how the process comes about and then move onto developing with light and hand painted emulsion on paper, ceramics, and found material, creating compositions with objects of their choice

Botanic Garden Magic
A day exploring the botanical gardens, drawing, painting and sculpting. Students will get to bring one plant to life in clay. This class begins and ends at the Gardens rather than Inner City Art Studio.
Clay flowers will be fired for students in January.
December 18th or Friday January 23rd, Ages 9-14, 9am-3pm. $90 materials included.
French Cafe and Art SCene
Beginner one day drawing class, starting at a cafe and moving to a gallery in the city for the afternoon.
Friday December 19th, 9am-3pm.
Ages 8-14, $95, materials and a hot chocolate included.
A Day of Clay
A fun introduction to clay hand building, either as a stand alone or in preparation for a more advanced class.
Monday December 22nd, 9am-3pm.
Ages 8-14. $130 materials included.

Designer PLANTER
Students learn to use templates, creating their own themed ceramic wall planter. Then hand painted in underglaze on a lovely speckled clay that will be glazed and fired.

Clay Creatures
Scientifically study an insect of your choosing and recreate it in clay.
Thursday January 29th, 9am to 3pm.
Ages 10 to 15, $90 materials included.
Sculpted Animal Bowl
Focusing on sculpting skills, students will choose an animal and the create the head and limbs to be attached to a pre-formed bowl. Student will carve their creation and decorate with underglaze.
Friday January 30th, 9am-4pm.
